Q. So why did it take you so many years to stage the play? I could not find the right person to play Lady Macbeth. I wanted someone with the right kind of sensuality and a powerful voice. Basically, someone who could switch from being a witch to a sensual woman with a tremendous emotional range.

 I had auditioned many Hindi actresses but it was Lushin Dubey who floored me with a solo performance.
